Freedom! – for now...
On 10th August David was released from coercive detention. He is not allowed to leave Switzerland, though. A hearing will follow, but the date is still written in the stars. The call for donations is still up – the fight has not been won yet.

Book, Detention, Birthday
During his long stay in jail, David did put a book to paper, which has been translated into a digital form by hard-working helpers. "Limash Balaganta – Die Gantisten" is the title. At present, only the German release is available, but an English translation will follow.
Sadly, there are no news about a possible hearing or even discharge of David. Recently, he "was allowed" to visit the pastor of the jail, who could not believe that someone is imprisoned on remand for such a long time due to the holy mushrooms. The pastor read "Limash Balaganta" and asked for further discussion with David.
On 31st August, David will, with a high probability, spend his birthday in jail. Again. Please send him your best wishes!

Detention conditions
As Davids wife told, she und their children stopped visiting David the end of July, because the discrimination und circumstances were very encumbering for the children and David and the visitations did not lead anywhere, except for tears. They have been hassled and David has been exhibited in chains like a felon.
David works intensely on the translation, including own comments, of John M. Allegros book "The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross." He wants to create a "bible" for all German speaking friends of the mushroom this way.
The third request for release was denied the end of August.

Detention of Pastor David
Thursday, 8 o'clock, David Schlesinger has been arrested by Swiss officials in the Hexenhotel, Eywald. Computers, miscellaneous documents, as well as all cash have been seized. The operation of the hotel cannot be continued, due to the suspension of funds.
The hotel already opened its doors on 24th December 2005, after informing all relevant authorities about Davids activities. The relationship to the local police has always been trouble-free and amicable.
